Early Career Headship

Having completed (and survived!) your first year as a Headteacher, you have probably learned more in that year than you thought possible.

A network of peers who are navigating the challenges as well as the joys of Headship is one of the greatest resources that you can have. SAfE would like to invite you to be part of our Early Career Headteacher Professional Learning Network.

The network is aimed to support Headteachers in years 2, 3 and 4 of Headship.

The network will meet half termly for 90 minutes on Zoom

During each session we will reflect on stimulus, think and learn together in phase specific and non-phase breakout rooms, and have the opportunity to find out how others are dealing with key issues. Whole group discussions will afford the opportunity to learn about leadership in a range of contexts.

Most importantly you will be able to collaborate with the only other people who truly understand the nature of your role in the early stages of Headship.
